Meet Isaiah: an introverted, effortlessly cool senior with a refined sense of style that rivals anyone twice his age. I rarely come across young people with his level of maturity and focus, but Isaiah is one of a kind. He’s reserved, highly intelligent, and has a quiet confidence that shows through in every shot. Surprisingly, he mentioned this was his first photoshoot—but he was such a natural, it honestly caught me off guard. From the very beginning, Isaiah moved with ease in front of the camera, fully embracing the moment and bringing a sense of poise that’s rare to see.

For his senior session, we chose the Empire State Plaza in Albany, a location that offers endless creative possibilities. With its modern architecture, expansive walkways, and panoramic views of the Albany skyline, it was an ideal backdrop to match Isaiah’s cool and sophisticated style. I love shooting at this location because it allows for so many different looks, all within the heart of the city. The mix of urban textures and open spaces gave us a perfect canvas to capture Isaiah’s unique personality and individuality.

This session was a fantastic reminder of how much I enjoy working with clients who bring their own style and spirit into a shoot. Isaiah’s maturity and natural talent made this an unforgettable session, and I’m thrilled to have been part of documenting this special milestone in his life.
